The theme of "Cities of The Future" inspired young builders to showcase their creativity and innovation through LEGO creations. The submissions were judged based on originality, innovative design, imaginative use of the theme, and incorporation of sustainable elements, encouraging students to think about the future of urban structures with a focus on emerging technology and sustainability.
Out of the numerous submissions, the judging panel selected 10 exceptional LEGO builds that best embodied the spirit of the challenge. These winning creations demonstrated imaginative design, attention to detail, and innovative interpretations of future cityscapes. Additionally, there was a special category called the "IIB Catalyst of Change Award" sponsored by Iskandar Investment Berhad, which celebrated creativity in designing futuristic urban structures with a focus on sustainability and emerging technology. The public also played a part in the selection process, as the creation receiving the most likes on IIB's social media platforms gained an advantage.
