The Islamic calendar's holiest month has begun afresh, uniting Muslims all across the world in reflection and repentance. This year, Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast hosts Rentak Selera, putting together a peaceful event that friends and family can enjoy.

  

"We've decided to continue the Rentak Selera theme this year, building on the popularity of the buffet spread from last year. In keeping with the essence of Hard Rock, our buffet is focused on the dynamic energy and lively ambiance that are reminiscent of the colorful vibe of neighborhood bazaars. Executive Chef Halim stated, "This concept aims to not only enhance the quality of our cuisine but also expand the diversity of dishes offered."

Under the expert guidance of Executive Chef Halim, the buffet features an array of delectable delicacies. Explore a range of appetizers to start your gastronomic adventure, including Asian Fruit Pickles, Ulam-Ulaman Desa, and Salad Bar. You may satisfy all of your demands for sushi, tamago, unagi, and maki rolls at the Japanese Station. You can savor the unique Mandi Rice Station in the middle, which serves succulent lamb that is slow-cooked and served with a variety of seasonings. With its Kambing Golek Istimewa (whole roasted lamb with dual flavor), Satay, and Otak-Otak, the grilled station steals the show. Visit the Birria Tacos Station, which serves pulled beef prepared in the Birria way with melted mozzarella cheese.

 

   

Watch the chefs create à la minute meals from the pasta and wok station as you indulge your eyes. You can choose from professionally prepared Chinese, Western, and Indian cuisines to satiate your appetite if you like flavors from other countries. The innumerable sweets, including the various Kuih, Cendol, Mango Pudding, Teh Tarik Flan, Pandan Layer Cake, and various cookies and cakes, are sure to satisfy any appetite. Enjoy hot and cold drinks from the buffet line to go with your meal.

The Rentak Selera Buffet Dinner is available from 14 March to 9 April 2024 at Sessions, the all-day dining restaurant at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast. The dinner is priced at RM 148nett per adult and RM 74nett for children (6 to 12 years old) and senior citizens (65 years old and above). Group bookings of a minimum of 30 persons will enjoy 10% discount. 

An early bird promotion is available from 20 February to 10 March 2024 at RM 128nett per adult while, children and senior citizens’ are priced at RM 64nett per person. Thereafter, get a free buffet dinner for one person when you book for 10 people.

Review Juju

Makan-makan dekat Hard Rock Hotel ni best tau. Suasana dia tu yang kita susah nak dapat dekat tempat lain. Ditambah pula sekarang dah ada pentas untuk live band. Jadi sambil menjamu selera tu bolehlah saksikan persembahan live di pentas.

Kalau bab makanan pula memang Juju suka makan dekat sini sebab makanan yang dihidangkan menang sedap dan lazat. Juju suka sangat dengan mi kari nyonya dan kacang pool yang dimakan dengan roti bakar. Perfect combination untuk pembuka selera.

Ada juga kambing golek dan nasi mandy. Sup tulang merah pun ada. Tahun ni Hard Rock Hotel bawa pelbagai jenis sushi, tamago, unaki dan maki rolls dekat Japanese Station. Repeat banyak kali pun tak de sapa nak marah. Sedap betul ya sotong tu. Makan dengan mayonis. Fuh, macam ade kat Jepun.

Untuk manisan pencuci mulut pula memang korang akan rambang mata tengok barisan kek dan kuih-muih tradisional. Diseli kan dengan air teh tarik. Memang ko akan duduk berlama-lamaanlah dekat restoran tu. Hehe, jangan risau. Diorang tak marah pun. Makanlah selagi boleh makan. Dah bayarkan.
