Ready, Set, Build! The Ultimate LEGO® School Challenge is Back and Better Than Ever!

Hey parents and young builders! 🎉 The most exciting LEGO® school event in Asia is making a grand comeback — bigger, bolder, and bursting with creativity! The LEGOLAND® Malaysia School Challenge 2025 is kicking off its fourth edition, teaming up with the Ministry of Education to unlock the limitless imagination of students all across the region.

Since its debut in 2022, this challenge has grown into a beloved regional phenomenon. After smashing records in 2024, this year promises even more thrills, new features, and fantastic prizes that’ll spark creativity and fuel a love for learning.

What’s New? Build Your Dream Destination!

Open to kids aged 7 to 17 (split into three age groups), this year’s theme invites students to design their ultimate travel spot using LEGO bricks. Whether it’s a futuristic underwater city, a magical island, or a dreamy place among the stars, participants get to blend creativity, storytelling, and building skills to bring their dream destinations to life.

Bigger Prizes, More Action!

This year, the Challenge steps up its game with two exciting new twists:

Global Grand Prizes: Winners in Primary and Secondary categories will jet off to LEGOLAND Korea! Junior category champs get a fun getaway at LEGOLAND Malaysia.

Speed Building Showdown: For the first time ever, finalists will race against the clock in a live 45-minute speed build showdown — showing off their skills in front of judges and fans alike!

Finalists will also enjoy a 3-day, 2-night stay at LEGOLAND Hotel, exclusive trophies, LEGO sets, and annual passes to LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort.

Inspiring Young Builders: Meet Nathanael Yap

One inspiring alum, Nathanael Yap, who’s won the Grand Prize three times, shares:

“Joining the LEGOLAND School Challenge every year was one of my best school memories.
