From 14 September, guests can interact with 126 new built-to-scale LEGO models of Malaysia’s iconic landmarks. 

The MINILAND Amazing Malaysia has been unveiled by LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort as Malaysia approaches its 60th Anniversary on Malaysia Day. The newest attraction, built with more than 1.38 million LEGO® Bricks, pays homage to Malaysia's rich legacy and demonstrates the industry's tenacity.

The 126 painstakingly constructed LEGO models at MINILAND Amazing Malaysia, which opens to the public on September 14, 2023, offer visitors to experience a mesmerizing trip through various aspects of the nation's rich cultural heritage. This 381m2 LEGO wonderland, divided into sections honoring East Malaysia, West Malaysia, and the South China Sea, promises a multigenerational immersive experience.

MINILAND Amazing Malaysia provides a venue for showcasing the rich cultural diversity, breathtaking scenery, and recognizable monuments that distinguish East and West Malaysia on this unique occasion. Visitors will be motivated to travel back to Malaysia and explore the miniature versions of the real-life beauties they have discovered through these exquisitely crafted LEGO creations.

Visitors may look forward to seeing some of Malaysia's most well-known monuments in LEGO form, like the A'Famosa fortress's colorful history, Jonker Walk's bright architecture, the intriguing Batu Caves, and many others. MINILAND Amazing Malaysia is a voyage into education as well as a visual treat. The exhibit's interactive displays encourage curiosity and an appreciation for the country's history by providing peeks into local legends and Malaysia's diverse cultural heritage.

With a dash of LEGO comedy, visitors will be taken right into the heart of Malaysia. They can enjoy the thrill of a Penambang Boat Race on the busy Sungai Sarawak at the touch of a button, witness Melaka's iconic Rickshaws adorned with flashing lights and pumping music as they parade through Dutch Square, among many other enthralling experiences, by pressing a button.

LEGOLAND Malaysia will go all out for its Malaysia Day celebrations from September 15 to September 17 with traditional dances from Malaysia, heartfelt music, and compelling performances. Visitors can participate in the Kid's Traditional Fashion Show Contest over the festive weekend. During this time, young visitors who are dressed in their best traditional Malaysian garb will have the opportunity to win prizes valued up to RM3,000.

The LEGO DNA of learning through play was taken into consideration when creating MINILAND Amazing Malaysia. Families can engage in cooperative building challenges, take part in the awe-inspiring LEGO masterpieces, and create lifelong memories. MINILAND Amazing The construction of Malaysia took more than 14,000 hours, and it was a labor of love. Each LEGO monument was thoughtfully designed and expertly constructed right here in Malaysia by Malaysian LEGO Model Builders. It serves as a testament to regional creativity and authenticity in each design while showcasing the country's most recognizable sites.

The iconic attraction MINILAND Amazing Malaysia is slated to introduce Malaysia to the world and invite visitors from around the globe to experience the marvels of Malaysia. Behind the Scenes of the Building of Amazing Malaysia

Christ Church Melaka is part of the Melaka MINILAND Amazing Malaysia area. The Melaka area was built with the most amount of Bright Red LEGO bricks than any other area in MINILAND Amazing Malaysia with about 20,000 LEGO bricks. The Christ Church alone has a total of 8,500 Bright Red LEGO elements and took 90 hours to build.

The Kota Kinabalu City Mosque, the largest mosque in Kota Kinabalu, is part of the Kota Kinabalu MINILAND Amazing Malaysia area. Don’t forget to also catch the iconic Mount Kinabalu, which stands at a staggering 3.6m, making it the largest rockwork in the whole of MINILAND. 

The Kek Lok Si Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia, is part of the Penang MINILAND Amazing Malaysia area. The Kek Lok Si Temple was made of 3,200 LEGO Bricks and took 100 hours to build.
